The Haitian Under-14 Women's Selection won Group C Challenge U14 CFU Salinas defeating Puerto Rico (1-0) yesterday Tuesday at Velodromo Camao.
Positioned in group C with Puerto Rico, Anguilla, Bonaire and the Turks and Caicos Islands, the Haitian team crushed everything in its path. Indeed, the small Grenadières finished the competition with 12 points in front of Puerto Rico with a success (1-0) thanks to a goal from Walandjina Cyriaque, the sensation of this first edition which scored 21 goals on the entire competition
Long before yesterday's victory against the Puerto Ricans, the Haitian women had won the first three (3) games on wide scores: (18-0) against Bonaire, (20-0) against Turc & Caicos then ( 16-0) against Anguilla. In total, they managed to score 55 goals in these four group games.
Haiti keeps its place on the roof of women's football by finishing 12 points overall, ahead of Puerto Rico (9), Jamaica (9). ) and St. Vincent & Grenadines.
