Johnley Alexandre, 24, was a Lascahobas Sports Association midfielder who went from life to death on Thursday (September 3rd) following an illness, local media reported. Nicknamed the Messi Lascahobassien, the funeral of Johnley Alexandre will be sung this Sunday, September 13 at the Lascahobas social center, in Lascahobas, Plateau Central, Haiti.
According to testimonies, Johnley Alexandre was one of the best talents in Lascahobasssian football and the most talented of his generation. The attacking midfielder who played with the number 10 in the second division within the ASL was an unrepentant left-hander and was the conductor of the offensive sector of the Lascahobassien club.
A native of Lascahobas, Johnley Alexandre was born in 1996 and joined the Lascahobassienne team in 2016, at the age of 20. He endorsed bib number 10 with his 20 years and became an indisputable holder and a darling for the fans of the club. His teammates have nicknamed him, among others, Maestro John, the Messi Lascahobassien. The technical prowess and the matches of Johnley Alexandre will remain etched in the memories of all Lascahobassiens!
