Secretary-General of the United Nations
Ladies and Gentlemen, Representatives of the Countries of the Organization,
Ladies and Gentlemen, Dignitaries of the United Nations World Organization
Following the correspondence dated 24 September 2018 from the Deputy Secretary General postponing the invitation of 28 September, he has once again received the insignificant honor of intervening here at the United Nations Tribune. Yesterday, in 2014, was to address the issue of the Impact of New Technologies on respect for the dignity and potential of women. Today, I take the floor in an effort to highlight, in sharp contrast, the symbiosis and the quintessence of scattered cross-cultural ideas that pursue the ideal of a humanity of freedom, peace and well-being. I am taking the floor to ask – if need be – a new dynamic for international cooperation and solidarity. I take the floor to solicit, from the international friendship, this essential accompaniment to the people of Haiti, my Country, resolved to take in hand its destiny.
Ladies and Gentlemen
A hundred years ago, the world came out of a frightful drama in which honor announced the peak of the madness of the adventure of our civilization. And twenty years later, in 1939, he thought he was living the Apocalypse. Coming out of this door of hell, traumatized, dazed but suddenly enlightened, the space of a searing, the collective consciousness of a certain human wisdom, recalled the status of gregariousness and the duty of men to live together. She gave birth, thus, to the United Nations. This, to prevent such nightmares.
The contradictions of exclusive and grotesque interests, the after-effects of the practices of exploitation, stupidity and dehumanization have not, it is true, made the task easy for the United Nations. However, it is important to recognize that significant progress in conflict prevention, human relations and development, above all, honors the Organization.
But oh! How far does he have to go?
Is it not obvious that:
• The specter of nuclear war grinning incessantly.
• The ecosystem loses its original graces, its virtues and its attributes gradually … dangerously to the point of mortgaging life on Earth the planet of Men.
• Absolute poverty affects more than one billion people.
• Major pandemics affect all continents.
• Corruption plagues state finances.
• Clichés racist, sectoral, even clannish resurgence not without some violence.
At the beginning, therefore, of this 21st century placed under the sign of the Man, the challenges to be taken up for a world more just, more livable, more solidarity and, above all, more responsible are major. While the Mechanical Spirit of our Civilization accuses a moment of sclerosis of ideas of hope.
How can this generation of men and women respond to the call of this renewal of humanity?
Civilization, in my opinion, to restructure itself, has the right to question.
• masterful ethnocentrism.
• The libido of the unique thought
• The so-called white supremacy
• Mechanisms and purposes of a decadent operating system
By listening to each other, ladies and gentlemen, men will transcend their prejudices, their fear of the New, and will repair, without constraint in the light of just and equitable societal codes, the wrongs inflicted on others.
Your Excellency, Mr. Secretary General, Excellencies, Ladies and Gentlemen, Ambassadors, Distinguished Guests,
At the moment, I have an idea, that of asking peoples, brothers and friends, partner States to listen to my voice. people of Haiti.
You have probably heard the echo of the cries of the population of La Saline district in the heart of Port-au-Prince facing planned genocide. Multimedia project images of political atrocities committed against citizens who only demanded accountability in peaceful protests. This people cry out for justice and reparation. He also tells his leaders to stop there. He says no to the excesses of bad governance and the dictatorial instincts of the current executive power. In his marvelous tongue there is a translation: * ase nou bouke. *
Nou bouke ak:
• Yon gouvennman amatè kowonpi, restavèk.
• Yon Leta ki demisyone.
• Konte pitit kadejak, kadav kolera solda minista
• Nou bouke konte krim kap fet sou opozan politik, krim vyolasyon dwa moun.
Ladies and Gentlemen, the people of Haiti who still sigh after the Dessalinian Dream, through my body, is currently seeking your moral support especially to stem the recurring crisis of instability due only to the decadence of a reproving system. I send you, from now on, his most sincere thanks.
Moses JEAN CHARLES
Secretary General of the Pitit Dessalines Party
