Tuesday, June 25, 2019 ((rezonodwes.com)) – In cooperation with the Chinese technology company Huawei, the British telecommunications company Vodafone recently launched its first 5G mobile network commercial service in 15 Spanish cities.
In Madrid's shopping malls and bus stops, big posters are already announcing the arrival of this new technology.
Spain thus becomes one of the first European countries to have this ultra-fast mobile network. 5G, characterized by its high speed and low latency, is already generating high expectations among consumers and industry professionals.
With 5G mobile phones, users will be able to reach download of up to 1 gigabit per second (Gbps) at the moment, or up to 2 Gbps by the end of the year.
In fact, the introduction of 5G technology in Spain has was made possible by Huawei's telephony network.
The network launched by Vodafone and Huawei will initially cover 15 major Spanish cities, including Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Seville, and the service will be expanded in the future.
