Under the administration of President Michel Joseph Martelly and Prime Minister Laurent Salvador Lamothe, the Haitian state has embarked on a project to build playgrounds in several municipalities in the country. This operation was the result of audit reports maintained by the Superior Court of Accounts and Administrative Litigation (CSC / CA), a scheme of corruption and embezzlement of public funds. The revelations do not end even in 2020 during the second presidency of the reign of the Haitian Party Tèt Kale (PHTK).
Indeed, a minister of administration Moise-Jouthe declares that the money of the State which was to build sports centers across the country has been hijacked. “Nèg yo kraze lajan,” Minister of Youth and Sports Max Attys said on Friday after touring several departments. Max Attys pointed out that it was the firms SECOSA, a Haitian firm, Rofi and Adom, Dominican firms, which were contracted for the construction of sports centers across the country.
Furthermore, Max Attys finds himself confronted with an identity problem according to several sources. The holder of the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC) would function with two names. Asked about this state of affairs, Max Attys reportedly said that officials at the National Palace did not ask him for any document relating to his true identity at the time of his appointment.
