Wednesday, November 21, 2018 ((rezonodwes.com)) – “Let loose the word, if Jovenel Moses refuses to start the Petrocaribe trial, it is because he is the” Negro “of Michel Martelly. He is not the “man” of the cause of impunity or the fight against corruption. Now, because he is the “Negro” of a Negro, rather than “the man” of a cause, he is stuck, enkylosed and incapable of making a political gesture, which would make him enter into History as a man of state. However, whatever you do, the Petrocaribe trial is inevitable.
It follows that for Jovenel Moses, the alternative is clear -I did not say simple! -: drop Martelly and start the trial; or let go of the people and suffer the anger of the crowd and history. Alas, my little finger tells me that he will remain the “Negro Martelly”. Thus, as the Battle of Waterloo was the political tomb of Napoleon Bonaparte, Petrocaribe will be the tomb of Jovenel Moses. The moral of history, as Jean de La Fontaine would say: “Never be the man of a man; but the man of a cause “. By the way, hi! “(Jean Fils-Aime)
Many compatriots believe that the Petrocaribe trial will never take into account the dynamic” kase fèy, kouvri sa “and” the investigation continues “. But, what they do not realize is that the petrocaribe challenge that has propelled the Petrocaribe affair by the national and international stage is vibrant and will continue to get off to a good start. Several compatriots are embarking on petro-education to hold high the torch of adequate information so that the petro-judges are judges. After the departure of Jack Guy Lafontant, one would think that Jean Henry Céant was going to be able to give a new breath to the administration of Jovenel Moise, but it is well, miscalculated. The power in place is out of breath and one wonders if Jovenel Moise is not on a tightrope, ready to leave. The mobilization which is engaged against Jovenel Moise does not aim at the expulsion of the power to replace it by the opponents.
One just wants to push Jovenel Moise to stop being the negro of a negro as the theologian well says Jean Fils-Aime in a memo published on the web this week. Jovenel Moise wants to protect Michel Joseph Martelly and his PHTK allies who have squandered part of Petrocaribe funds. The accused president wants to protect Jean Max Bellerive, cousin of Michel Martelly and ally of the PHTK. We do not accuse anyone here, but these people are named in the Senate reports as state officials who have signed resolutions and who have contracts with firms. Although the Haitian constitution recognizes that the president is a minor, it does not prevent him from being in charge and giving orders.
Jovenel Moise with his two firms involved in extra billing is indeed on bench of the accused in the Petrocaribe trial. How can Jovenel Moise support the Petrocaribe trial? I recognize that the objective of the petrocaribe challenge is not to overthrow Jovenel Moise, but he will fall of his own weight since he refuses to give clear signals that the trial can take place under his administration. The Superior Court of Auditors' investigation will not succeed since this court upheld all illegal procurement decisions.
Today, the purpose of the inquiry to be conducted is to study the accusation of extra billing and bribery by state officials. Without a doubt, there will be money laundering because these officials can not prove where the money came from. This is where the ULCC and the UCREF should intervene to investigate the people who have been pinned. Apart from state officials who are pinned, there are collaborators who were not managers of public funds who benefited from the largess of the dilapidators. These people must be prosecuted as well.
The end of the year should be the time to take stock and reflect on how to get back on track. Unfortunately, at the moment, state officials are acting as firefighters in the face of a mobilization that feeds day by day. There is no doubt about it, Jovenel Moise turns out to be incompetent. What is worse, he surrounds himself with qualified people to support him in his heavy task. I am a republican at heart, I wish that Jovenel Moise finishes his mandate, I believe in the political alternation, but if the president refuses to lead the fight against the culture of corruption which is a bad endemic gangrene Haitian society, can we allow it to go all the way? I must put a damper here.
Knowing the traditional Haitian politicians, they have no legitimacy to demand the departure of Jovenel. Authentic Lavalassians, they were all witnesses and partake of the excesses of power lavalas under Aristide and Préval. Many of them made fortunes under lavalas. I always ask myself how do Haitian politicians who do not work and do not like to work live? The idea of a transitional government raised by opposition members is a sure way to gain economic health and bail out their accounts. It is not a question of safeguarding the interests of the nation
Jovenel Moise has a chance to stay in power and complete his mandate, despite the mobilization against him. The political opposition to Jovenel Moise is a fire of straw. It now relies on the mobilization of petrochallengers. These are not aimed at a change of regime. For now, he claims the Petrocaribe lawsuit with the hashtag: Kote kòb Petrocaribe a? Of course, in the long run, this movement will lead to a wider movement to ask for a change of system since the system “peze souse” is out of breath. Corruption has long been the hobby horse of Haitian politicians
They have never had the decency to protect the interests of the people. That's why today they have no legitimacy to shout at the fire. We have to say it bluntly, we are witnessing the gang war in Haiti right now. If Jovenel Moise wants to complete his mandate, he will have to stand out from Michel Martelly and stand up to parliamentarians who instead of exercising control over the executive want to manage it indirectly by placing ministers and general managers. Once Jovenel Moise makes a ministerial reshuffle with competent people and once he is determined to no longer give gifts to the petroers, and also, once he assumes his role of head of state to want to pacify slums and put out of harm's way the gang leaders, he will be able to count on a good part of the population. Jovenel Moses must agree to lead with his enemies. It has been said to the president to make possible the national dialogue between all sectors of national life including the diaspora, but he turns a deaf ear. It requires austerity measures at the level of the Administration and the president must call on competent, capable and honest people to support him. Why not engage with GRAHN for support in human resources and government guidance!
With his lack of legitimacy and the insignificant number of people who elected Jovenel Moise, he will have to deal with honest people who are in the opposition. There are people who call themselves opposition leaders who exist only by name. It is thanks to the corrupt press that they continue to ravage on the airwaves. Does Jovenel Moise have this ability to transcend self to make concessions? To him to know, because he is at the foot of the wall. We have already made a proposal to end the crisis on Sunday, November 18 if Jovenel Moise decides that he is not up to his task and resigns.
But, we mean that there is way to avoid chaos and a transition that may not bring a new breath if it is good to put the power to this opposition that is in trouble to appear. We know there are people who will not understand our position, but it reflects our beliefs and values. We are for the respect of principles and norms. We have arrived at the moment of truth. Parliamentarians can lose everything, because a resignation from Jovenel Moise is tantamount to sending Parliament and the Prime Minister to send the ball to the CSPJ. It is now up to the three powers to determine whether they want to give the country a chance and stop being the watchdogs of an unconscious, bloodthirsty bourgeoisie and a bloodthirsty international community.
Somme all, there will be no gifts for petrol at the end of the year. Willy-nilly, we will celebrate the end of year celebrations. The gourd climbs and the BRH gives no indication that it masters all the parameters and that it can set up a monetary policy to stop the haemorrhage. Jovenel Moise has the tacit support of the Core Group, but they will have to put their hands in their pockets to at least help Jovenel Moise to offset the budget deficit. The state must reduce its lifestyle and as advocated by the economist Nesmy Manigat, it requires a reduction of ministries. With 12 or 13 ministries, the power in place would send a clear signal that it wants to start the purification of the Public Administration.
Today, we gave a free consultation to the Head of State because we are for peace and stability. Jovenel Moses must stop lying and make promises that he can not keep. He must make the Petrocaribe trial the number one point in his new agenda. We know that it is not easy to get on your own when you are not a negro or a man, but Jovenel Moise is smart enough to know when you do the dirty work. you end up leaving your skin. I predict that Jovenel Moise will overcome the overflowing waves if he is determined to lead the fight against corruption, to make the Petrocaribe trial possible and to take into account the demands of the population. Happy holidays to you all, despite everything!
