Cabaret protest: cabaretins demand better living conditions.
Tuesday, September 10, 2019 ((rezonodwes.com)) – Very early in the morning of September 10, 2019, residents of Cabaret blocked the national highway number 1 at Haut Damier.
Under the initiative of Chrisler Thelusma and Methelus Mondy, the cabaretins started a protest against the dilapidated condition of the Upper Damier Bridge.
They barricaded the road to demand the express repair of the bridge which represents a danger for transport at the This movement completely paralyzed the traffic on this stretch of road.
In another register the cabaretine population demands drinking water and electricity, a situation considered unsustainable by the demonstrators who have put mattresses in the street expressing their fed up.
Remember that the leaders of this movement organized well before a peaceful march to educate the authorities on r the cabaret situation, deprived of any infrastructure that could allow this town to develop.
