Friday, April 12, 2019 ((rezonodwes.com)) – One Class Production and Konekte Ayiti have decided to encourage residents of the Haitian capital to reconnect with the tradition of beautifying the skies of Port-au-Prince with multicolored kites.
With the support of the Mayor of Port -au-Prince, the two institutions launched the first edition of “Ayiti Kap Anlè”, in view, according to officials Hardelet Pierre-Louis and Jean Lournel Léandre, to offer the population a moment of relaxation and leisure dedicated to Kite.
The activity will take place on Sunday, April 21, in full Easter, from 2 to 8 pm in the Place Dessalines at the Champs de Mars and will start with a kite throwing by the first citizen of the city, the Mayor Youri Chevry.
Kites will be available to the public during the event, but participants will be able to purchase one permanently by making discounted purchases at one of the stands.
In addition to the moments of joy that can be immortalized by taking pictures, Kap Anlè will introduce a solemn aspect by allowing party goers to release a lantern by expressing wishes for the country and for themselves.
