How can one believe that Haiti is still governed when one sees only lies, lies, lies to the government?
Currently, the government has chosen a firm and decided action to show that it exists: it is quarreling. Loudly, violently, multiplying thunderous utterances with “inadmissible” in triple count; it is to those who will declare themselves the most outraged by the remarks of others, in a pretty hyper-bursts of epidermic reactions between ministers, agitated in a Brownian movement quite reassuring as to the conduct of the country.
But let's be magnanimous: if the government did not fight so visibly, what would it do for all its time? And how would they know that they exist, that they act and that thanks to their dedication, the situation improves? We must face the obvious: if they did not send anathema to the figure through the intermediary press, they would be busy with only one thing: lying to us.
Yes, lie. Lying to the people when they speak to them, when they are silent about certain unpleasant truths, when they over-mediate others without interest, lie by their actions and, at least as much, by their omissions.
And question lie, the month of June 2018 was particularly rich.
In his speech delivered on the occasion of the second edition of “Haiti Tech Summit, President Jovenel Moise announced the ceaseless establishment of a” task force “to study the conditions of the establishment of the” first national technology park “.
Taking pride in having realized in less than a year the dream of several years of launching “Alpha Haiti”, an incubator center of technological innovation, the head of the State evoked several reasons motivating the creation a national technology park.
According to him, this park will find an appropriate space for the valorization of the ideas and innovative projects conceived within the framework of the Incubation Center, to find the team to connect our universities with what is done best in the world, to create a new high value-added business sector that attracts skills and skilled jobs in the country, in the fields of artificial intelligence, biotechnology, finance, mechanics, electronics, electronics, etc.
According to President Moise, the park has its raison d'être because “we must immediately help develop a new sector of activity that is currently the most dynamic in the world economy. taking advantage of the experience gained by all these young Haitian men and women graduates in the best universities in the world and who are happy to foreign countries. ”
Faced with these lies, Haitians moan, louder and louder. Yes, these lies are more and more visible, rude, obscene even in the face of the efforts of an ever-increasing number of people who see the end of the month approaching with increased anxiety. These lies are, moreover, more and more difficult to accept while their ultimate ultimate justification is still based on this republican pact, this social model which is also a lie, a fraud that a growing number of citizens discover, bewildered. No, your taxes do not pay for roads and infrastructure. No, your taxes do not pay (or almost no) this policy that will not be there when you need it. No, your money does not abound to reduce the misery in Haiti: the more you get, the more this misery extends.
