In this context, they organized a series of events taking into account all children, especially those living in rural communities and from vulnerable backgrounds.
These socio-cultural animations
provide a platform for sharing and exchanging more than 200 children (orphans for
most) to connect to a group of women who will give them support
necessary to secure their place in society as citizens
responsible and endowed with the values of dignity, equity and solidarity.

For Medjine Zenny, President of the Group “It is important that we continue to engage in a dialogue on this subject until 'to achieve an awareness and commitment of decision makers in this country. Hands and Compassionate Hearts is not a project, it is rather an awareness, a call for solidarity, and we consider the initiative of this weekend as a kick-off for a dialogue with ourselves towards a necessary and obligatory change.
We work tirelessly to ensure the success of this cause. Education is a birthright and everyone's business. To invest in the education of children is to guarantee the freedom that our ancestors have struggled to bequeath to us. It is with dedication and passion that the members of Hands and Benevolent Hearts are engaged in this task that they have given themselves as a mission.
The women of this group are engaged in a constant articulation with daily contingencies, in order to find new solutions, new modes of action and reactions allowing the vulnerable layer of our society to reconnect with their identity. and their human dignity, continues Mrs. Zenny
In this sense, education being a formidable weapon to change the situation of the weakest, Hands and Kind Hearts believes in a quality education where the child feels a citizen of the world. This education must be based not only on academic learning but above all on family values for a more harmonious society.
Hands and Compassionate Hearts intends to be initiators of renewed hope in a community that must support each other in order to balance our economic, moral and family failings; repair as much as possible the social fabric weakened by all sorts of inequalities and cynical indifferences, said the president of the group.
Following these activities, the President of
ENEPHA, Amos Sybrun and the leaders of OREEVMA welcomed this gesture
commendable for the children. They
also thanked the authorities and members of Hands and Benevolent Hearts for this strong act which demonstrates the value they attach to the improvement
living conditions of this segment of the population.
