Thursday, December 6, 2018 ((rezonodwes.com)) – On the initiative of the Ministry of Culture and Communication (MCC), Haitian artists and a sample of works of art representative of the country's artistic landscape , extracts from the fields of Painting, Sculpture, Fashion, Craftsmanship, Graffiti and Music, showcase, from December 5 to 9, the Haitian culture at the 5th edition of Art Beat at the Cultural Center from Little Haiti
Nestled in the heart of downtown Little Haiti, Art Beat Miami is an annual satellite art fair organized as part of Art Basel Week. It highlights emerging and renowned artists, painters, sculptors, art exhibits, murals and musicians, among others.
This fair is presented by the Little Haiti Optimist Foundation and Northeast Second Avenue Partnership (NE2P)
The Ministry of Culture and Communication, since two editions, has taken advantage of this showcase to promote Haitian culture through the works of talented artists. This year, the MCC is present on three paintings at Art Beat. In fact, the institution's delegates will coordinate, among other things, a craft fair, the traveling exhibition “Faces and Names and Works for Memory” and a talk on music production and works of art.
As a reminder, Art Basel is a contemporary art event held annually in Basel, Switzerland, Miami, USA and Hong Kong, China.
