Haiti – Football U15 : Our young Grenadières prepare for the Women’s American Championship
On August 7, 2018, our young U-15 Grenadiers will enter the 3rd Edition of the U-15 American Women’s Championship to be held in Bradenton, Florida in a very tough group: Ireland (invited), Mexico, Puerto Rico with matches on August 7th, 8th and 10th.
39 countries compete in this weeklong championship. Currently the Haitian Football Federation (FHF) is speeding up the formalities of departure while increasing the preparation of these girls who have been training at the FIFA Goal Center of Croix-des-Bouquets for 3 years. The U-15 women’s selection is coached by Coaches Wilner Lamarre, Marc Ogé, Christine Ariste, Gina Montinard and Geralda Saintilus and Coach Chery as physical trainer.
This week the National Technical Director strengthens the team. Two or three girls already in the U-17 lineup are expected to join this team that has some competitive experience having played the last edition of the women’s national championship last season but have never played in an international tournament otherwise a training matchup with Cuba U-17 in Haiti (victory of Haiti 1-0).
Our young team of Grenadières, if it does not have the beautiful game of the selections which precedes it, on the other hand has athletic qualities superior to the other Haitian female selections and be sure that soon we will discovered the outstanding figures of our U-15.
