Haiti – DR: In 2019, more than 82,000 foreigners have been deported!
The DGM's statistical report, during that year, reports the non-admission (turned back) of 45,787 foreigners who did not meet the requirements established by the general law on migration 285-04.
Similarly, it was reported in 2019, by air, sea and land, the voluntary return of 1,360 foreigners, the return of 861 others and the attempted entry of 76.
During 2019, the General Directorate of Migration (DGM) recorded an increase in migratory movements by air, sea and land with the entry into the country of 8,801,398 foreigners.  Regarding migratory movements along the land border, the DGM reported that 285,797 entries and 223,428 departures were recorded, mainly by the Jimaní border post, where the highest flow was reported, followed by Dajabón, Elías Piña and Silex.
