Haitian team striker Duckens Nazon confided in four questions in an exclusive Haiti-Tempo interview in which he returned to the CONCACAF group in Haiti for the 2019 Gold Cup and also gave his impressions on the first friendly match confirmed for Haiti against the Chilean selection on June 6.
The Saint Mirren player who believes that Haiti will play in a good group, hopes to play the semifinals, as his primary goal even if he agrees that all teams will be motivated.
HT: Hi Nazon, what is your first reaction on the band inherited by Haiti for the next God Cup?
DN : This is a good group. Of course Costa Rica is a favorite but all teams will sell their skin dearly at this level. We have a chance to qualify if we join forces to work together.
HT: The Gold Cup 2015 brought you some nice memories, would you be ready to charm once again the Haitian public for that of 2019 ?
DN: Yeah, that was wonderful for me. It's this competition that has revealed me to the world and that really launched my career in selection, I can not forget it. I hope we will have a better course this year, a semi-final minimum is my personal ambition that I intend to reflect on the group for the Gold Cup because we have a page to write. Mwen pauca nou kapab fè yon bèl gòld kép ane sa si pèp the dèyè nou
HT: The Haitian selection already has a friendly match as a prelude to the Gold Cup they will play against Chile, Are you ready for this challenge?
DN: But it's clear, especially since it's a very good team, it's the kind of match to show our ability. I hope a good result against Chile to approach the Gold Cup with a cool head
HT: Chile, a country where there are many Haitians who are thirsty for the selection …
DN: Ah, we are waiting for this match. They do not have the right not to come to assist us, I hope to fill all the places that will be reserved for visitors. On the Assault!
