Monday, September 16, 2019 ((rezonodwes.ccom)) – Could someone explain to me the origin of the Haitian kokoratism which is for me one of the main reasons of our state.
I take the example of a Dominican senator. He is as corrupt as a Haitian senator. Modest social background as a Haitian senator. What he gains in the circuits of corruption far exceeds what a Haitian parliamentarian could imagine.
Except that this Dominican senator is not a kokorate. He wants a clean, modern country with beautiful roads, hospitals, schools, electricity. This senator would be very shocked to see what we call a National Theater.
Albert Buron jerklessly said that there were demons whose office was on the top floor of a skyscraper. There are others, the kokorat devils, in dark and nauseating caves
Our parliamentarians, our politicians are mostly kokorats. That's why they can only think dirty and small.
This kokoratism explains the dilapidation of the country. Kokoratism is so entrenched in our culture that even years of study abroad, the most advanced degrees, can not get the better of this way of being and thinking small, thinking dirty. Corruption does not explain everything.
My brother in the USA gave me the example of a friend of his whose dream was, if he won a multi-million dollar lottery, to return to Haiti [19459010
I will be told that everyone can have their dreams and culture.
But history has shown, forget all moralism, what happens to dreams and cultures unable to take place on the chessboard of inevitable competitions.
The Haitian scene is only the proof, with some exceptions, of kokoratism installed and triumphant at all levels.
But who can explain to me kote afè kokorat sa a sòti? I would like an answer.
