While his team was scheduled to play on Tuesday at 6:00 PM, Jarzinho Pieter was found dead yesterday morning in his hotel room. The now-former FC Vesta goalkeeper who was already feeling uncomfortable before leaving Curacao, according to a member of the Curacao delegation who entrusted him to Haiti-Tempo, has since been in a private morgue.
Few hours after this tragedy that caused so much pain to the Curacian delegation, the CONCACAF, in a statement posted on its site, decreed that a minute of meditation will be observed, before the matches of this 2 e day as a sign of tribute and solidarity with the 31-year-old goalkeeper. It began yesterday and will continue tonight.
Third goalkeeper of his selection, Jarzinho Saul Emmanuel Pieter had a major role in the locker room of Curaçao and had the recognition of all the Curacian players. His departure makes his compatriots inconsolable.
