The U-17 tournament ended Thursday with Mexico's victory over the United States (2-1) in the final. At the end of the competition, CONCACAF rewarded the best and there are two grenadiers in the eleven type.
This victory after extra time for Mexico against the Americans yesterday, put an end to this competition which was very moving in Florida . Mexico will represent CONCACAF at the next U-17 World Cup with the USA, Canada and Haiti.
The tournament was outstanding for the national team, which had an extraordinary run to the semifinal where a defeat against the Mexicans ended the Haitian participation. CONCACAF unveiled the eleven of the tournament and two Haitians are included, the side: Stanley Guirand (left) and Emmanuel Jean Geffrard (right).
Geffrard and Guirand were excellent throughout the tournament and have greatly contributed to the number of goals scored (15) and did a good job defensively that allowed Haiti to achieve 3 clean sheets in 6 games and 3 goals conceded.
