Sunday, November 17, 2019 ((rezonodwes.com)) – About fifty immigrants will be expelled from Chile. Most of them have returned illegally to the country and have not regularized their situation, while some of them have committed cries or participated in unrest and looting during the popular uprising shaking the Andean country.
Three Haitians and seven Dominicans belong to this group of undocumented migrants apprehended in the O'Higgins area. The others are of Cuban (30), Venezuelan (9) and Bolivian (1) nationality.
This information has been confirmed by Mayor Juan Manuel Masferrer, who has stated that he has already signed the deportation order, stating that these offenders were then placed at the disposal of various guarantee courts in the region.
For the mayor, some of these individuals are involved in looting and violence during the recent protests in Chile.
They were captured by police undermining state authority and lifting barricades. Motive enough to declare their expulsion, said Mayor Masferrer
