The second day of the CFU Championship delivered its verdict on Tuesday at East Kingston Stadium of Jamaica with defeats (0-2) of Real Hope and (0-1) of AS Capoise.
Real Hope FA suffered another defeat on Tuesday in their CONCACAF Champions League qualifying campaign. After a 0-1 loss to the opening day against Portmore United FC, the rhinoceros fell in the competition when they lost to Watherhouse FC (2-0).
Kowsky Sainvil's foals had a hard time to manage their start of the match and this afternoon they still suffered from this. Undisputed leader of the Haitian D1, the youngest capoise team is however very unrecognizable in Jamaica and obviously, it goes straight to the play-offs against the winner of CONCACAF Shield.
In the other duel of the day, the AS Capoise team could not get through Portmore United FC (0-1). The old capois cock still resisted this team, Yves Marie Clervin pushed a penalty to maintain the parity score, but the teammates of Djimmy Ben Alexis have cracked 11 minutes from the end on a goal by J.East (1 -0, 79e).
The next day is scheduled for Thursday and we already have two sensational games. The Cape Derby will take place at 6:30 pm well before the battle for first place in this group that will pit the two Jamaican teams at 9 pm PM
The results of the day:
