Haiti. COVID-19. Opinion number 97 of the Ministry of Public Health and Population mentions 54 new confirmed cases and six deaths on July 07, 2020. This gives a total of 6,486 cases of people contaminated with COVID-19, 123 deaths and 2 181 cases declared restored.
Of these 6,486 confirmed cases throughout Haiti, 40.9% are female and 59.1% male.
Worldwide as of July 7, 2020, the total is at 11,500,302 confirmed cases, of which 535,759 deaths have been recorded, ie a lethality of 4.65%.
Note that 49 imported cases were recorded from July 1 to 5, of which 85.7% were from the Dominican Republic and 14.3% from the United States of America.
