Port-au-Prince, November 6, 2018 .- Prime Minister Jean Henry Céant held today “November 6” a working session with the President of the Superior Court of Accounts and Administrative Disputes ( CSC / CA), Pierre Volmar Desmesyeux “
” The aim of this working session was for the head of the government to inquire about the evolution of the Court's audit on the management of the PetroCaribe fund ” , said the Primature through a statement.
During this visit Prime Minister Jean Henry Céant handed to the advisers of the CSC / CA “a dozen copies of the special issue of the official journal Le Moniteur gathering all the resolutions, all the agreements, the treaties, the decrees and minutes of meetings under the PetroCaribe Fund “.
Prime Minister Jean Henry Céant took the opportunity to give a guarantee that the government will not influence the work of CSC / CA judges, among others.
He therefore undertook, on behalf of the Government of the Republic, to accompany the Court in making available the necessary means to promote the outcome of the inquiry.
For his part, the new President-in-Office of the Court of Auditors, Pierre Volmar Desmesyeux recalled that the report of the CSC / CA on the PetroCaribe case will be ready in January 2019.
In addition, Pierre Volmar Desmesyeux has called for a safe environment for CSCCA advisers working on this issue.
Remember that the petro challengers continue to demand accountability for the management of the PetroCaribe fund. The political opposition has not ceased to demand the departure of the ruling team.
