Friday, November 29, 2019 ((rezonodwes.com)) – With the financial support of FOKAL and the Bank of the Republic of Haiti, the University Agency of la Francophonie in the Caribbean announces the first group of beneficiaries of the Solidarity Support Network for Business Creation (RÉSACE) in Haiti, a support program for students wishing to embark on the development of a company with a strong social impact
On more than one hundred applications received 25 project leaders (including 13 women) were chosen throughout the country. They will participate in a 180-hour incubation workshop starting in January 2020.
Six of these projects will benefit from a co-financing of ten thousand dollars to launch their operations.
This incubation and financial support program, which aims to contribute to the economic integration of students and recent graduates, is part of the “Employment and Innovation” component of the New Francophone University Space Campus (C-Neuf) Haiti -Antilles.
Through a program of advice, facilitation and financing of projects for the creation of small and medium-sized student companies with a strong social impact, the RESEAS aims to support 75 business projects and to co-finance 18, along with three years.
